Cordon’s first official Tasting Room + Gallery opened November 2021 in downtown Solvang. Not just another pretty tasting room, Cordon’s highly rated Burgundian and Rhône varietals are sharing space with rotating art exhibits showcasing works from local artists.
Adding to the creative mix, we will soon be launching a Salon Series featuring guest speakers spanning all sorts of fields, from jewelry makers, potters and perfumers to flower arrangers, beekeepers and farriers (horseshoers). Did we mention all the writers in the area, writing books, screenplays and poetry? They are ready to share their works in progress, as well as newly published works.
We want to whet our palates and share with you good wine and other interesting discoveries.
As Winemaker Etienne put it, we consider wine to be art for the palate, just one of many art forms. We want the tasting room to not only celebrate our wines but to celebrate creative Santa Barbara with visual art works, tactile art works, spoken works and audio works from local talent.
Our tasting room is situated in a stunning courtyard within the newly renovated PARc Place and offers an indoor-outdoor experience with a well-appointed interior space and an inviting outdoor patio.
Besides the wine, besides the art works, besides the location, our tasting room staff is dedicated to showing you a good time. We are a kid and dog friendly tasting room.
